you might be able to play it in 9 months, but chopin puts more emotion in his pieces than (in my opinion) any other composer. to play it, u have to understand it and really feel the music.

ah hah. I'd love to play this piece, but my hands! Will a age 15 boy able to nearly perfect this piece in 3/4 year?
I found an interest in this piece by my digital piano's one of 50 preset songs.
I didn't know the name of this piece. I ran and TURN ON THE COMPUTER! searching searching and searching. Finally! YES! printed out 8pages sheet music. O WOW! head aches already!
Wish me luck! =]

its because it sounds similar to beethoven's moonlight sonata, especially the 3rd mvt.
this is due to the prevelant use of C# minor in both pieces.

I think he hated this piece because of its use of C# minor, which is commonly used in Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata 3rd mvt.

It's weird why he regretted composing this piece. It's beautiful!

No, it was because some of the note sounded like Beethoven's moonlight sonata (I think the 3rd movement).
He was a big fan of Beethoven, the person he admired the most and he thought it was outrageous for him for his music to contain any sounds that was like his.
