because people want to emulate him, he does those "good works" for the same reason that slutty girls dress slutty, because they think it makes them better, because they think it raises their self worth. and the sad thing is, is that people want to emulate him. if you want to emualte someone go emulate gregory peck, who never suffered from cancer, or had a family member suffer from cancer(or friend) but still did an amazing amount to help cancer research. Hmmm... You've gotta imagine that most people don't watch this video because it's such a good song (And it is, as is everything Johnny Cash has ever written or performed), but just so they can see who all of the celebrities are in it. Like i said, good song. But i'm an extreme atheist, and although i don't believe in the whole 'god' deal, i can't help but like this song. RIP Johnny. We loved you.
